You will collaborate with the software and QA team members on various development tasks.

Our products inspect empty and filled containers: glass, plastic, cans and more. We find defects in empty containers using vision, X-ray and gamma-ray technology. We ensure that the bottle you pop the cap off has no chips or cracks and is safe to drink from. We’ll inspect the label for flaws, tears, presence of date-code, color and orientation. FILTEC is looking for an experienced, talented, passionate Senior Java Developer with a solid 5+ yrs experience in the development of User Interface (HMI) applications. This position is part of the R&D organization’s software engineering team developing new products and supporting existing products.

You will collaborate with other team members on the development of User Interface software and its integration with production-line products.

Our products inspect empty and filled containers: glass, plastic, cans and more. We find defects in empty containers using vision, X-ray and gamma-ray technology. We ensure that the bottle you pop the cap off has no chips or cracks and is safe to drink from. We’ll inspect the label for flaws, tears, presence of date-code, color and orientation. All 360 degrees of the container.

Under general supervision from company guidelines, policies and practices the duties associated with this position include:

Develop Java software using Agile/Scrum methodologies

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, with a minimum of 5 years recent Java experience working on Windows and Linux platforms.

FILTEC, Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Planner. Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager the Production Planner will monitor and manage finished goods, subassembly, WIP and raw materials inventories.

This position requires timely completion of projects; team leadership experience, strong customer-facing, report writing, and presentation skills. Qualified candidate would be able to lead a team, possess strong customer-facing, report writing, and presentation skills. Other responsibilities include:

Position Responsibilities

Planning and scheduling of production lines to meet customer demand
Anticipate obstacles and monitor demand, production, and inventory to provide timely production alternatives to ensure fulfillment of customer demand
Proactively address and communicate schedule issues and demand changes to all operations departments
Monitor and manage finished goods, subassembly, WIP and raw materials inventories for availability and ordering needs to ensure adequate levels are kept in order to fulfill MPS.
Analyze demand/usage and recommend stock or forecast requirements
Serve as lead agent to drive system and process improvements including inventory control, material availability, and other supply chain initiatives
Effectively implement and communicate ECO activity within the production cell to avoid part shortages and/or inventory obsolescence
Work closely with Production and Purchasing departments to eliminate part shortages and reduce inventory
Work closely with Master Scheduler to mitigate issues
Effectively plan ramp-down and ramp-up of product lines
Perform other duties as assigned to support Supply Chain activities

Education, Training, Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Production Planner and/or Master Scheduler
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
CPIM Certified by APICS (preferred)
Super User of ERP systems (Baan experience preferred)
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities
Highly developed planning, organizing, negotiating and problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Strategic Account Manager is required to make cold calls and pre-arranged sales visits to penetrate the highest levels of the customers’ organization. The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for developing major product placement programs through aggressive corporate selling and maintaining a strong customer presence.

The Strategic Account Manager will:

Proactively creates and executes a joint company-account/territory strategy that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period to achieve consistent sales growth within the territory.
Create strategies for identifying, qualifying and contacting new prospects
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customers’ needs on an on-going basis
Execute strategies and tactics to diversify and increase Filtec sales across product lines, channels and markets
Close sales with new customers and reactivate dormant accounts to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and ensure revenue growth
Foresee and avoid stagnation within the territory/accounts
Qualify customer questions, effectively handle objections, and manage negotiations leading to customer commitment
Add value with current clients to maintain relationships and further develop accounts.
Develop and maintain lasting industry relationships with key customers and prospects
Directly manage and expand install base within assigned key accounts
Coordinate internally with all departments (Engineering, Customer Service, etc) to ensure customer satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
